... And Some Things Remain the Same

Yesterday we gave you a picture of Bob actually working. Today things return to normal: Bob sleeping on the job. We never knew it was possible to sleep sitting up on a pile of cinder blocks.

Another classic Bob moment. Steve, Nelson and Mayron had just finished mixing a batch of concreto for the support band around the wall when Bob showed up with his muffin tin full of water and Gatorade. Each of them got one small cup when Bob spotted a group of young nurses in uniform walking up the hill from a nearby medical clinic and left the three workers waiting for more essential fluids while he rushed to offer the rest of the drinks to the nurses. Same old Bob, always thinking of others. Please continue to pray for him.

Finally, Bob joined Egla in the church with about 50 of the children. They sang songs. The children learned to sing "God Is So Good" in English and as they sang all the work stopped on the Sunday School building as the team members stopped to listen. Bob, Wiley, and Ginger performed the Honduran version of the "Chicken Dance" to the uproarious laughter of the children, some moms, the Honduran workers and some of our team members. We give him a hard time (and he deserves every bit of it) but Bob Kimball in front of a group of Honduran children with a guitar is a foretaste of the day when God's kingdom will be fully established on this Earth. You really should come see it for yourself. We pray he will never change.
